Legacy Ranch High School

Mr. Mark Koller brings nearly two decades of experience in public education and campus leadership to Legacy Ranch High School. He earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University.

Mr. Koller began his career in San Marcos CISD as a special education teacher at Bowie Elementary before serving as a fourth-grade teacher. After relocating to the Leander area with his wife, Natalia, he continued his work in Leander ISD, where he helped open Jim Plain Elementary, served as an instructional coach in the Steiner Ranch area, and later returned to Plain as an assistant principal.

His leadership experience includes serving as principal at Pleasant Hill Elementary, Leander Middle School, and Danielson Middle School, where he was part of the opening team. Throughout his career, Mr. Koller has been committed to building strong campus cultures, developing teachers and leaders, and creating meaningful partnerships with students and families.

He also served as a Principal Advocacy Fellow with Raise Your Hand Texas and participated in the Raise Your Hand Texas Harvard Leadership Cohort, supporting public education initiatives during multiple Texas legislative sessions.

Mr. Koller and his wife will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary next June. They have three daughters, Sienna, Scarlett, and Giada. As a family, they enjoy summer trips to Ocean City, New Jersey, and spending time at their daughters’ extracurricular events, including UIL Academics, cheer, volleyball, and theatre. A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Koller remains a devoted fan of the Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickup basketball in the Leander and Cedar Park area and going to the movies with his daughters.

Mr. Koller is honored to serve the students and families of Legacy Ranch High School and looks forward to building a strong foundation for generations to come.
